Present simple, también llamado simple present, se utiliza para hablar de situaciones que hacemos regularmente, tales como pasatiempos y rutinas.

I play golf every monday.

They often travel to China.

She gets up at 8:00. 

I don't walk to school.

She doesn't love him.

También se utiliza el presente simple para hablar de hechos, tales como verdades generales, datos y hechos científicos o definiciones.

Water boils at 100° Celsius.

The sky isn't green.

The word smart means intelligent.

Doctors study for many years.

The earth rotates on its own axle. 

Y si recuerdas el esquema 6.1 de la página 131 ahí tendrás las estructuras de sus formas afirmativa, negativa e interrogativa.

AFFIRMATIVE:

SUBJECT + VERB + COMPLEMENT

NEGATIVE:

SUBJECT + AUXILIARY NEGATIVE + VERB + COMPLEMENT

I-                    En la página 56 de tu libro tienes un pequeño texto que habla sobre el sistema óseo. Léelo e identifica 5 enunciados, cópialos y subraya cada parte del enunciado del color que corresponde.

II-                  Utilizando la lista de verbos que copiaste del diccionario, escribe otros 5 enunciados afirmativos o negativos que incluyan únicamente SUBJECT + VERB o SUBJECT + AXILIARY NEGATIVE + VERB.
